The area's most photogenic location
If you need a beautiful location for a group photo or company profile pictures, Arnbjergparken is an ideal choice, and the park is also ideal for companies for walk and talk or other outdoor team building.
Located in the heart of Arnbjergparken
Just outside the Arnbjerg Pavilion is Arnbjergparken – a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the city, stretching over a large area that includes Varde Mini City, the Outdoor Stage and beautiful recreational areas. Arnbjergparken is a scenic gathering place where tall beech trees in the company of huge rhododendron bushes form a beautiful setting for the park. On a walk around the park, you can get close to historical events and experience all kinds of exciting activities and facilities for all age groups.
Food indulgence for all senses
At Arnbjerg Pavillonen, we want at least one of these 3 criteria to be met when we shop:
Chef's thoughts
It’s all about putting in the effort and caring
about the details.
We strive to make everything from scratch, using local ingredients.
We work with good local suppliers from Enghavegård, Varde Ådal Lam and Kathrinelund near Guldager, where ecology and sustainability are a core value. We also use a local collector who walks around in nature and
finds the things we can use in the kitchen. It can be anything from
rosehips, sea buckthorn, seaweed and mushrooms.
So our dishes are simple but very tasty, using fresh ingredients that have been treated accordingly.
We are not afraid of innovation in gastronomy. We take the time to try new things, and our goal is to be able to pickle in the summer so we have our own products for the winter.
The atmosphere that arises when the smell from the kitchen spreads into the rest of the house, it’s something.
We want you to feel at home

The name “Minibystuen” is a reference to one of Arnbjergparken’s major attractions, Varde Miniby and the view of the historic Minimurer workshop across the road.
The walls of the Minibystuen are characterized by changing exhibitions of models from Varde Miniby, selected and set up by the “minimasons”, a group of skilled craftsmen who are passionate about designing, building, constructing and experimenting their way to the right detailed solutions for the new mini houses.

Pavilions
The original pavilion from 1899
When you enter the beautiful old Pavilion, you’re struck by a sense of history.
In the late 1800s, gazebos became very fashionable, and Varde was in on the trend. So in 1899, the town council built a pavilion to prevent the people of Varde from going to Esbjerg to have fun. The pavilion, originally built with an open veranda, is one of the best preserved in Denmark and is today newly renovated with respect for history.
The inspiration from the surrounding nature in Arnbjergparken is clearly noticeable. There are high ceilings and beautiful light, herringbone parquet floors and an atmosphere where you get the feeling that nature has been invited inside.
The Pavilion also includes the currently closed veranda with its own access to the terrace and Arnbjergparken.
The veranda can be used for smaller parties, receptions or for serving aperitifs before the party moves into the Pavilion.

Polyphones / Hall
A room with lots of urban history
The Polyfon is for the big companies, both in terms of capacity and elbow room.
Everything you need for a large party, concert or conference is here.
Among other things, there is a large stage at the end of the hall and the option to divide the room using a folding wall if you need a smaller hall but the same facilities.
Polyfonen has its own bar both in the hall and in the adjacent foyer.
In short, the hall’s possibilities make Polyfonen the place for music and culture in Varde.
Polyfonen also holds a lot of history. It was built in 1914 and was Jutland’s largest hall at the time.
The hall has been used for many purposes over the years, from a sports hall to a granary and polio hospital, making it a gathering place for people in both want and need.
Today, the Polyfonen is beautifully restored with great respect for the history and architecture of the time, with its beautiful curved ceilings and visible tap bands.
