Read more →Since 1899, Arnbjerg Pavillonen has been West Jutland’s favourite venue for events. We have hosted everything from milestone birthday parties for 30 guests to large corporate galas for 500 attendees — and throughout, our setting has remained the same: historic premises, home-cooked food from Restaurant GRO, and personalised service that makes every single celebration something special.
Our location in the heart of Arnbjergparken in Varde makes us the practical choice for events from across the region. We are 25 minutter fra Esbjerg, 15 minutes from Ølgod and Bramming, 20 minutter fra Tarm, og 40 minutes from Ribe and Skjern. This means that guests from all over West Jutland can arrive without a long journey — and when the party is over, we have 50 rooms on site for those who don’t want to drive home.

Our smallest room, with an intimate and cosy atmosphere. It is most often used for departmental meetings, memorial gatherings, small birthday parties and families looking for an intimate evening. The room has its own bathroom, natural light and can be set up for both sit-down dinners and table bookings.
The Foyer is perfect for board meetings, small corporate dinners and family gatherings where you want a more formal setting. The room overlooks Arnbjergparken, so there is beautiful natural light and a view of trees and flowers.
When you need a little more space — for example, for a larger reception, networking event or panel discussion — the Foyer is the right choice. The room can be set up with a stage, projector and sound system. We have hosted many corporate events here, as well as opening receptions and product launches.
Our heart and soul. The Pavilion was built in 1899 and has since been the setting for West Jutland’s largest private functions. Original timber-beamed ceiling, panoramic windows overlooking the park, space for both seated dinners and a dance floor. This is where weddings are held, this is where the big corporate Christmas parties take place, and this is where milestone birthdays get the right atmosphere.
Our largest venue — a professional concert hall with a stage, professional sound and lighting systems, and space for 500 participants in a conference-style setup or 240 for a dinner. Polyfonen is used by companies for large conferences, by cultural organisers for concerts, and occasionally for the very largest private parties (anniversaries, silver wedding celebrations, major corporate galas).
Whichever venue you choose, our Restaurant GRO will provide the banquet menu. Head chef Casper Rosendahl will put the menu together with you — from a classic Danish three-course meal to modern share-food or a traditional buffet. We work with local produce from the Wadden Sea, the Varde River Valley and the West Jutland terroir, and the menu is always tailored to your preferences, allergies and dietary requirements.

Vi har en dedikeret selskabskoordinator der følger jer fra første henvendelse til selve festdagen. I får jeres egen kontaktperson som kender Your requirements, koordinerer med blomsterleverandør, fotograf, musiker og alle øvrige praktikaliteter. Vi laver gerne flere besøg op til festen, så I kan se lokalet, smage på menuen og planlægge stemningen i ro og mag.
