At Arnbjerg, we believe in high quality, natural common sense and a green focus. We work every day for a more responsible approach to running a hotel and restaurant, which is why we focus on values such as sustainability and social responsibility in our daily work and through our choices.

We believe that together we can do the right thing and take better care of our environment and climate. We want to take responsibility, not only for the current generations, but also for those many years to come. 

That’s why we’ve made a choice from the start to run a healthy business with a focus on a sustainable approach. We will minimize our impact by constantly striving to live as responsibly as possible in every respect. Therefore, in our everyday lives, we constantly make choices based on what we think makes sense socially as well as climate-wise.

Our journey towards a more sustainable operation of our hotel and restaurant ensures that we continuously optimize and improve to leave as small a footprint on the world as possible. At Arnbjerg, we know we can’t save the world, but we strive every day to make a small difference in the way we run our business.

Green Company of the Year

We were exceptionally lucky to win the Green Company of the Year award, which was presented last night at City Hall in connection with the Business Summit.
This recognition means a lot more than you realize. We are very touched and grateful.
Casper: “It’s our green rule of thumb in this house to think GREEN – all the way around. We consider it natural to prioritize local produce, organic and overall sustainability. It has required a great deal of adaptability for our staff, and they have embraced the green changes so well. We owe many people a debt of gratitude for their help in the green transition – including our talented staff.”
Annemette: “When we took over Arnbjerg Pavillonen, there were three things we quickly agreed were our cornerstones for how we would think in our daily lives. What we consume must meet these criteria: it must be sustainable, local or organic. We’ve accomplished that, even though it’s been a challenge at times – we’ve achieved what we wanted to, but there’s a lot more to come, because it’s a constant evolution. And it brings so many smiles to our everyday lives – when Casper also occasionally comes up with fun ideas, such as bees on the roof. But it turned out to be a pretty good idea; they’ve added a lot of honey and it tastes amazing. The green spirit is here to stay.
