Christmas at GRO — Share Food

Our new Christmas concept for those of you who love to share, taste and chat. At Restaurant GRO, we serve a share-food Christmas menu where everything is served on platters in the middle of the table — and you can help yourselves to whatever takes your fancy.

Here’s how it works

You book a table, we bring Christmas to the table. The starters, main courses and desserts arrive in sharing bowls and platters, so there’s plenty of room for conversation, playing with flavours, and that genuine, cosy Christmas mess.

For groups and parties

The concept is particularly well suited to smaller parties of 6–20 people who want a truly special Christmas atmosphere without having to sit and wait for their food to be served. We have space in several of our rooms — from the Foyer Room to the Pavilion.

Share food Christmas menu: DKK 425 per person
. Includes bread, butter and coffee/tea. Drinks as per the menu.

Events at Arnbjerg Pavillonen in Varde. We have been hosting events, Christmas celebrations, parties and concerts in Arnbjerg Park since 1899. Our historic setting is the preferred venue for both private events and corporate functions throughout West Jutland — from Esbjerg, Bramming, Ølgod, Tarm and Ribe.

Restaurant GRO is responsible for the culinary craftsmanship, and the menu is created from scratch by head chef Casper Rosendahl, with a focus on local produce from the West Jutland terroir. We have 50 newly renovated rooms so you can stay overnight; we’re located 25 minutes from Esbjerg and 30 minutes from Billund Airport.
