Intimate and historic
Experience the cosy and historic atmosphere of Minibystuen. The large window section with double doors facing east bathes the room in the most beautiful natural light. Minibystuen is ideal for smaller gatherings and an informal long-table setting. The name is a reference to Arnbjergparken’s major attraction, Varde Miniby, and the view of the historic Minimurer workshop. The walls are adorned with changing exhibitions of models from Varde Miniby. Room size: 3.5 × 11 metres.
The iconic main room dating from 1899
The original pavilion from 1899. As you step inside the beautiful old Pavilion, you are struck by the breath of history. The Pavilion is one of the best-preserved pleasure pavilions in Denmark and has now been newly renovated with respect for its history. It features high ceilings, beautiful natural light, herringbone parquet flooring and an atmosphere where nature is invited inside. The adjoining veranda has its own exit to the terrace and Arnbjerg Park — ideal for breaks, group work and lunch. Room size: 9 × 15 metres.
Cosy and informal
A cosy and informal room, ideal for private meetings and small conferences. It is equipped with all the necessary AV equipment and is located close to the toilets. The adjoining foyer has tables and chairs and offers plenty of space for group work. You can choose whether to partition off the room with the folding screen or open it up to the foyer. The foyer room is particularly suitable for graduate meetings and job interviews where discretion is required. Room size: 8 × 10 metres.
Bright reception and break area
Polyfonen is designed for large parties and conferences — both capacity and space are top-notch. It features all the modern technology required for a concert or conference. A large built-in stage at one end of the hall, the option to divide the space with a folding screen, and a dedicated bar both in the hall and in the adjoining foyer. Built in 1914, it was Jutland’s largest hall at the time. Today it stands beautifully restored, with its vaulted ceilings and exposed rafters preserved. Venue size: 17 × 25 metres.

Socialising and parties in Varde
Are you planning a wedding, a confirmation, a company party or a milestone birthday? Arnbjerg Pavillonen is West Jutland’s favourite function venue — historic, flexible and centrally located in Arnbjergparken, just 25 minutes from Esbjerg and close to both Varde and the Wadden Sea.
We have five unique venues which, either together or separately, can accommodate everything from an intimate dinner for 20 guests to large concert events with up to 500 guests. Whatever the occasion, we’ll tailor the setting to your needs — from the layout and menu to the wine selection and technical requirements. Our experienced team takes care of everything from welcome drinks to after-dinner coffee, so you can focus on what matters most: spending time with your guests.
The Minibystuen is ideal for smaller gatherings of 20–40 guests. The Foyer features high ceilings and natural light, perfect for standing receptions and cocktail parties. The Foyerstuen is adjoining the Foyer and is used for intimate private dinners. The Pavillon is the iconic main venue with original wooden beams, panoramic windows and space for 120 guests for weddings and large dinners. The Polyfonen can accommodate up to 500 guests and is used for concerts, lectures, corporate events and major anniversaries — complete with a professional stage, lighting and sound systems.
Hosting your wedding with us means you’ll have a partner who’s seen it all before — but who still treats your day as if it were the only one. The Pavilion is the ideal setting for the ceremony and reception, and we can offer a wedding venue, a bridal suite and a buffet or a classic three-course menu. There’s space for a dance floor, stage, bar and DJ, and we can arrange on-site accommodation for both you and your guests.
We specialise in company parties, confirmations and Christmas parties — and are delighted to welcome groups from across West Jutland, including Esbjerg, Ølgod, Bramming, Tarm and the surrounding areas. We often take bookings for Christmas parties from the summer onwards, so please book well in advance. We also organise joint Christmas parties, where smaller businesses can join forces with other companies — an efficient solution for those who do not have the space at their own premises.
We also provide venues for memorial services following a funeral. The Foyerstuen and Minibystuen are the usual choices — discreet, well-appointed rooms suitable for both a sit-down dinner and a buffet. We have experience in gauging the mood and handling all the practical arrangements, so that you can focus on being with your family.
Our hotel has newly refurbished rooms with panoramic views of Arnbjergparken. Wedding guests, corporate event attendees and family travelling from afar can stay on site and start the day with a delicious breakfast buffet at Restaurant GRO.
